I don’t know if anyone has noticed – or if anyone cares - but our blue bitter half has invested a significant amount on yet another false dawn.
Or a set of new players, depending on your point of view.
Still, there’s nothing like a set of summer sighnings (sic) to raise the collective pulse; even [...]

Paul Scholes interview
There’s a wonderful article by Jonathan Northcroft in today’s Times Online. It’s a little piece on our little Paul.
Best quote is from Ryan Giggs:
“From day one, Scholesy played as if he were playing on the street. And he was deceptive. You’d think, ‘He’s only small…’ Then he’d boot you.”

A match up
Things have been a little more bearable this past fortnight, with the Asian Cup dishing out some much needed football.

Thank you, Lord
and thank you, Niall, for the £5.5m.
It is always sad to see an ex-trainee leave the Club, and the transfer of Kieran Richardson to Sunderland is no exception. Richardson made only a handful of appearances for United, and it could be argued that his potential – a potential appreciated by Bryan Robson at WBA, [...]

Greetings!
Welcome back, my fellow Reds, to the show that never ends.
Forget about what happened last season; it starts all over again tomorrow night as Urawa Red Diamonds host Manchester United at the start of what will no doubt be known as Ryan Giggs’ Season Swan-Song. Sir Alex brings to Japan two of his newly acquired [...]
